Coinflow Explained

Here are some basic notes about Coinflow to help you understand it:

1. Coinflow is a new way to receive cash gifts

Coinflow lets your fans pay for your gifts like they always have (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay supported) and the funds are then transferred to you for you to withdraw to your bank account.

2. How do I setup Coinflow?

Just login to your YouPay account and you'll see a Coinflow setup prompt at the top of the page. You can also go to Settings >> Payment Settings and follow the prompts from there.

3. Coinflow does not use Stripe

Coinflow is completely disconnected from Stripe. Although YouPay still supports Stripe, it is not required to use Coinflow, nor does it have any connections to Coinflow.

4. Coinflow supports instant payouts

If you have a bank account in the US, UK or one of the 38 countries in Europe listed here, you can connect your bank account and have your funds instantly withdrawn. This means the funds arrive in your bank account in a matter of minutes from when you withdraw. Instant withdrawals occur a 2% fee, with a minimum fee of $2.

5. Coinflow supports regular bank withdrawals

If you do not want to pay extra for an instant withdrawal, you can withdraw to your US, UK, EU or BR bank account for a small fee with a standard withdrawal. This will take anywhere from 1-5 days to arrive in your bank account.

6. Coinflow supports withdrawals to crypto wallets

If you do not have a bank account in the US, UK, EU or BR you can still use Coinflow and withdraw your funds to a compatible crypto wallet. Instructions on how to do this are here. This is ideal for creators from countries like Australia and Canada. Here is a full list of support countries.

7. Do I have to be an expert in crypto to use Coinflow?

Definitely not. Coinflow is designed to make it very simple for you to withdraw your funds in regular currency like USD. Behind the scenes Coinflow uses a stable coin called USDC, which ensures funds remain in-sync with the USD.

8. Will there be more countries added to the instant bank withdrawals list in the future?

Yes, Coinflow are actively working on adding Canada and Australia bank withdrawal support now. Don't forget though, you can still use Coinflow now if you are from one of those countries, you just have to withdraw to a crypto wallet. We'll let you know as soon as this becomes available.

9. Who do I contact if I have a problem with my Coinflow account?

Send us an email to support@youpay.co or fill out the contact form here. We'll come back to you promptly and get your issue resolved. We are working directly in partnership with the team at Coinflow to make this an optimal experience for creators like yourself.
