What happens when a Coinflow transaction fails?

Modified on Thu, 14 Nov at 6:05 PM

What causes a failed transaction?

Like any other payment processor or bank, not all transactions will be successful. Transactions on Coinflow can fail due to a number of reasons. Typically most of which are caused due to rejections from the payer's bank, insufficient funds, incorrect address information or there is risk associated with the transaction that indicates fraudulent behaviour. You can learn about all the statuses and error codes here:

As a payer, what can be done to prevent failed transactions?

The most helpful method to reduce transaction failure is to ensure you speak to the bank about your transaction attempts, and check if the bank has applied any restrictions on payments to Coinflow.

Also always ensure you are using a real first and last name, email and billing address that is associated with your card. Rest assured this information is kept strictly private.
