The majority of gifts processed by YouPay are automatically approved (over 85%) . In some cases, when a payment cannot be automatically verified, you'll receive an email from us explaining that a recent gift of yours has been placed in review.
This means our security team needs more information from either yourself, or the gifter.
Until this review is completed, the payment for your gift cannot be captured

If we need more information from yourself, there will be another email accompanying this email with the questions we need answered in it. Please respond to this email at your earliest convenience.
If you haven't received another email, it means we are seeking further information from the gifter and have sent them an email.

Rest assured, through out this entire process, all of your information is kept private and never shared with the gifter.
How long will this take?
As soon as we can, we'll complete our review. Reviews are normally quite quick, taking no more than 1 hour, however sometimes, if additional information is needed to validate the authenticity of the payment, it may take up to 24 hours for a review to be completed.
How can I speed this review up?
If we've emailed you for more information, be sure to respond promptly. If we've emailed the gifter and you're in contact with them, be sure to let them know to look out for an email from YouPay.
Why are you doing this?
At YouPay we are committed to building a trusted and sustainable gifting platform for all creators. Ensuring payments are free of fraud is a vital step in this process. On average, 85% of gifts are approved automatically and do not require a review.
What if there are multiple gifts in review?
If the payer has multiple orders in review, we will likely only need to review one order. Once that order is approved, all other orders will be approved automatically.
